Easy to use organized guide that takes you step by step through a process

I've been investing in real estate for 5+ years and have worked for a private equity group as Director of Acquisitions. To be successful as an investor, you need to have a system. That's what I like about Symon's book. He presents a very systematic way to invest in real estate.
The Table of Content presents a strong outline that takes you from the Why of real estate investing to How to expand your portfolio and work with partners.
The book also has several helpful charts and images to drive home each lesson.
Although the book feels comprehensive like a textbook, it's written in a way that's easy to understand and logical to follow.
Symon's approach is also very metrics based (see photos). His scorecards help you test out your ideas by creating objective metrics to look at.
I highly recommend this book!

This is a great book for beginners and experienced real estate investors! I really liked how everything was broken down and explained in detail. It also comes with useful digital resources, such as the rental property calculator. Highly recommend!

Great for getting into real estate investing

I really liked how this first took a step back and go over the big picture for beginners. Too much material out there gets into the weed too fast. This companion book to the course worked really well. I learned as much about the first principles of investing in addition to the supplemental concepts needed to apply it to real estate. I can even use calculators to help me quickly assess.

This is a really helpful book for someone like me who knew nothing about real estate. I wish I had read it long ago. Symon He, the author, does a great job at explaining concepts in easy-to-understand language. The links and resources he provides is invaluable.

This is a great book, I just purchased this two nights ago and I now just finished a day and half later. Good information for beginner as myself and still learning in the process, thank you and I’ll definitely be reading the other books 😌

Sometimes you just need a crash course. Let this book be that. Super concentrated. No fluff. Timely. Great digital resources that accompany the text. You won't regret this purchase. Read and then decide what area of real estate you want to specialize in. My business is financing for real estate investors so if I'm saying it's a good book... it is :)

What a great resource! I’m completely new to real estate and wanted a beginner-friendly introduction to the topic that is easy to follow but doesn’t feel like it’s been overly simplified either. Symon strikes a great balance. And the included online resources are a big bonus as I now have the investment calculators I need to confidently evaluate investment opportunities on my own. I highly recommend his book for anyone new to real estate.
