I really enjoyed the way Jeff teaches his students, which made learning so much easier for me as well! He uses simple examples that are easy-to-understand but at the same time very powerful when applied in your business or on any other project you may be working on, including writing books and creating an e-course etc. - G

  • Necessary Content But VERY Poor Editing!

  • I bought this in-store a couple years or so ago, and while Smith's writing is highly crucial if one is to have a solid grasp of today's economics, this particular edition (B&N) is terribly done. There are entire wide swaths of text completely missing, including whole sections and even entire chapters! Sloppy, just sloppy. I can testify that the other commenters here who are hammering this so-called edition are correct. This edition is severly lacking editorially.

  • This is particularly important to students, because if they buy a book that's missing entire sections then I'm sure it will cost them some grading points through no fault of their own. The reason it didn't get five is because it's inexcusably poor editing. I'm also saying I would not recommend this product; as I've said, it's not due to Smith's great work but instead to this particular edition.

  • The Book Is So Detailed It Tends Toward Tedium.

  • I have read the book in hard cover. I bought it as an eBook to help me decide if I like the Nook ebook format. It turned out that I didn't. Navigation is slow on my netbook and the tools are awkward. I also explored the Kindle eBook reader, an it was no better. I am convinced if I want to read ebooks, I have to buy a Nook or a Kindle.
