For this episode, "Stay At Home Mom Tripled Her Income Organically on Facebook", I’m super excited to be joined by my friend Jenny Peterson. Jenny is a stay at home mom of 3 who has built a lucrative business by growing a large online audience - TOTALLY organically.
You can make a lot of money without having to invest a lot of money online.
That’s the holy grail, right?
But the thing is, most people don’t believe it’s actually possible for them.
Well, Jenny is PROOF that anyone can make a profitable online business.
6 years ago, she started an online business with a network marketing company. Within 15 months, she hit the top of that company and went on to add influencer and affiliate marketing to her business.
But when she started 6 years ago - Jenny had nothing.
She had zero followers.
She didn’t know what she was doing.
And in those 6 years, she’s organically built an audience of over 150 thousand followers on Facebook. She’s just started growing her Instagram account and already has more than 41 thousand followers.
Jenny also used to say she wasn’t a salesperson: This year alone, she’s sold over 2 Million Dollars in product for the companies that she affiliates for.

I have had a Facebook Group for quite awhile but NEVER thought about monetizing it! Reading Abbie's book helped clarify that I do have something of value to offer the members of my group, so why not capitalize and make it even easier for the members to find that value while making my life easier!
I have so many highlighted portions of the book on my Kindle but what really stuck out was this: "When did 'fame' become a four-letter word? When did we start thinking of fame as a negative byproduct of success?" <--- It's so true that we often say fame is a bad thing, yet at its core, we can achieve fame simply by offering answers to people's questions!
I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is using social media to further their business ventures!

Abbie Unger has written a very clear, concise, and applicable book about how to develop successful Facebook groups. One of my favorite parts was in the beginning when she talked about how her group was not successful and she got frustrated with just having 12 membersI could relate to that! Each chapter is a great step on how to not only build but continued to maximize the effectiveness of your group. I highly recommend this book.

Abbie does know her space and communicates in a wonderful, conversational tone about the steps, options and potential results that can result from building a Facebook group.
Really helpful, and highly recommended. Now if only I could become a flight attendant ;)

These online or business relationships aren’t any different from other relationships you decide are important enough to nurture. This is an incredible resource! Abbie covers all the ins and outs and walk you through the process of setting up, maintaining and generating income via Facebook groups. Plus how to provide value for those that join, as ultimately that is why someone joins a FB group. Great guide!

I bought the book after listening to Abby on entrepreneur on fire (the podcast). I am thinking of doing something similar with facebook with my group. Being that I currently do not have a facebook (What!, I know that's crazy right?!!) of course this is intentional! When I do start up again, I want to have a business plan and have a reason to get on to Facebook without blowing away countless hours of your life. I think this book helped me figure out what to focus my energy on when I get on Facebook.

Honestly, no one could have convinced me that you could make money from a Facebook group. Enter Abbie: She has completely changed my mind. I loved that she broke down what it means to have a healthy group, just like you would a plant. I see that a lot in groups that have no engagement, and eventually, they die off. I checked out Abbie's group: 10,000 members?! That is one healthy group! More than just teaching her readers, Abbie encourages them and knocks down negativity: "When did 'fame' become a four-letter word? When did we start thinking of fame as a negative byproduct of success?" I really encourage anyone with a dream, anyone with a goal, anyone who wants to create something successful—and make money to—to read Abbie's book.

When I found out about Abbie Unger ,was through Facebook media ,she had a group which niche I was very interested in and the fact that not only she had tons of advices about it ,but that she had created a space that a huge amount of people wanted to be part of,really was the fact I became a fan and a follower.After reading this book,you will find out a step by step how to create your business group on Facebook,be successful by doing so and enriching lives while you do it.

This book is a must for ANYONE trying to build their platform or business. I heard Abbie speak at a conference in June and it completely changed my mindset when it comes to the use of Facebook groups. This book gives you amazing tips on growing your audience which will in turn, increase your sales. I have been implementing all of her suggestions and am amazed at the results I'm seeing in such a short time. Very good investment!

Before I read Abbie's book I wasn't sure I wanted or needed a Facebook group.
In her book she does an excellent job explaining the ins and outs of groups. She was able to share her stories of the group she has created to help so many.
I read her book in one day and was provided so much valuable information I created a group within a week.
I am thankful Abbie was kind enough to share her experiences with us so that we can create and be successful in our groups.

Through personal experiences and practical wisdom Unger shows you how to get the most out of facebook. It's more than just a social platform. It's a social platform that pays. I'd suggest any entrepreneurs novice or experienced to check it out. There's plenty of nuggets of info for everyone.

This is a really interesting and encouraging book. I had never considered the idea of using a Facebook group to build a business, but it makes so much sense after reading how the author used a group to build her business. The book also focuses more broadly on encouraging people to pursue their dreams - even if I never create a Facebook group, this book has encouraged me to think about my blog and writing in a new way.

Very helpful and insightful book! The author shares what worked for her to build a very successful and profitable Facebook group. I love that she stresses this is not a quick, overnight process. It takes time, process, research and patience and she provides a great framework to begin and resource book that will help you navigate starting a Facebook group to help build your business relationships using one of the most popular social media tools out there.

Abbie writes in a very simple, easy to understand way that everyone can relate to. She has a passion for helping people and has actually done what she writes about. I highly recommend her book for anyone looking to turn their passion into their vocation. I am planning on utilizing it to help with my new novel which is coming out January 1st.
