This book is very basic ... and that is a very good thing. I am a realtor and am constantly exposed to "resources" that claim to be able to help me increase my sales. Most of what I see that purports to do this is based on an old-style "Sell, Sell, Sell" model that treats a sales transaction as a struggle by someone to maximize profit from another person, often by means that seem forced, at least to me.
Ninja Selling is not one of those resources - This is a valuable how-to primer on creating a superb sales climate for everyone involved. It is very easy to read and the lessons in each short chapter are clear and compelling. The "secret" is simple and timely - focus your energy and skills on providing value, being of service, and paying attention to what your client wants and needs. Do not focus on sales numbers or closing the deal, but create a strong strategy to build life-long relationships.
To paraphrase another famous saying, Ninja Selling is all about "Build the relationship on solid ground and the money will come" ... without focusing on the bottom line.
In the same way that leadership strategy and development are being transformed by the increasing impact of servant leadership coupled with ethical self-leadership, this book is slowly converting real estate professionals to a kinder, gentler, and frankly more effective sales model. This book is long overdue, easy to read, and with excellent guidance on just about every page.

Ninja Selling will Change the Industry

Full disclosure, I am a Ninja Selling Instructor. But, perhaps the question is, why? In 2008, I had the honor of meeting Larry Kendal. At that time I was already a seasoned trainer an had practiced real estate successfully in my career. That said, there was something appealing, pragmatic and unique about Ninja Selling, and its founder Larry Kendall.
So, after watching Larry present on the system, I was hooked. I wanted to teach it too.
Long story short, I started teaching the system at top brokerages and got extraordinary results. Not just for me, but for so many I was privileged to teach.
There’s something about this system that just attracts like minded, authentic people who also want to perform well, earn a great living and live an extraordinary life.
I’ve can tell you stories about agents who had less then $2500 in closings is February, took the coirsa and applied it full on and made $112,000 in that same year (rookie)
Or, about an agent who earned $60,000 a year for four straight years and after taking Ninja, doubled the next year to $125k, 240k the year after that and was at $400k three years after the course.
And here’s the best part. The book delivers. It’s not a preview or a teaser. It has substance and answers and really helps people not only understand the system, but apply it as well.
As noted, I am privileged to teach this system, and have done so since about 2008. But so far I have read this book 3 times since I had it and I still find myself seeing and learning about this game changing system.
Decide for yourself. Get the book, and see for yourself. TSW. This Stuff Works. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

This book covers both the internal states of mind as well as the actions to produce results. There is no magic pill. Creating strategies that work and sticking with them is the answer. There is consistent effort involved. If you have felt pulled by too many strategies, this book will help you simplify and take action. Then you will see results.

I noticed Ninja Selling on Amazon while looking at books for real estate agents and put it on a book among many. As I was getting into the business and found a highly successful mentor, I noticed she used a Ninja Selling planner. I mentioned I had heard of the book, and she replied “If you sell like this, you will be highly successful.” I quickly bought the book and give the content a high recommendation. The techniques they recommend will help you sell more, but it will also just help become a better person. The skills in this book as are basic, but so rarely done in today’s world. Definitely worth the read, and you will want to come back to it.

Great book! I am a real estate agent, so a lot of these things do apply to me, but, I believe you can use these skills in any industry. I'm implementing the 8 by 8 and flow, and I'm excited to see big changes. Very well written, and easy to read. Recommend.

Best book I have ever read on sales, the art of sales, and a foolproof system to increase sales. I have read and been coached by Tom Ferry and Greg Luther, neither seemed right for me. Ninja Selling rang true to me and how I view the world. I started implementing some of the systems immediately and when time and money allowed I attended the Ninja Selling Installation. Between the two, I am better at my craft, provide better service for my clients while creating better value for them overall. I highly recommend this book for anyone in sales, regardless of their product.

Great stuff, totally different than other sales books like those by zig Ziglar and Jordan belfort. Those high pressure tactics just don’t work on we millennials- we don’t want to be sold, as Larry points out. These are tactics that can make you a boatload of money and most importantly you won’t feel bad about it. I’m a loan officer that felt something was vaguely wrong about scripting and pressure closing, I’m excited to put these principles into practice and become the trusted mortgage expert in my community. A MUST read for real estate agents!

I am a managing broker for a large office and selected this book for our office book club. The author provides easy to incorporate steps in building your business through building and maintaining relationships. When I affiliate new associates I ask them as part of their initial orientation to purchase the book. Our office is executing on the principles in the book as by meeting each week and reviewing select chapters and committing to execute on a plan of action.

This is a great book to read. Book focuses on sales industry, especially real estate. This book goes into detail on follow up’s, communication, customer relationships, and how to create a system’s so you can have a life. The book focuses on explaining the vital few. The vital few activities in your industry that makes your time the most valuable. I chose to rate this book 5 stars because of the TWS- the system works. I was able to apply the simple rules from this book and was able to see steady results.

Ninja Selling is THE definitive book on selling real estate, and its a must read for anyone in the industry: Realtor, lender, escrow or title representative, or attorney. Understanding how to best represent your client in a way that is honest, open and genuine while meeting the client's goals is most important, and Kendall captures it correctly. I was hoping this book would provide some insights for B2B selling. It does not. It is meant for sellers in the real estate side of business.
