Brad Pass Jeff Lerner Review

Meet Brad Pass. He joined attended the Insight event and had a few major takeaways. The biggest thing was about alignment with who he is as a person. He’s also very impressed by Todd and his expertise. During the event, he had a huge realization and found a greater purpose in his life. Overall, the experience pushed him out of his comfort zone and he believed it was totally worth the time and investment.

Today’s guest on the Millionaire Secrets podcast is Jason Khalipa.

Jason is a CrossFit world champion and owner of the fitness chain of gyms, NC Fit.

He’s also the author of the book As Many Reps As Possible - a great selling book on Amazon.

On top of these achievements, Jason is also a father, having a baby daughter with his high school sweetheart.

Unfortunately, Jason’s daughter developed leukemia - and this has understandably had a big impact on other areas of his life.

The NC Fit chain he owns today is a reincarnation of a chain of gyms that he started straight out of college at only 22.

With 20 locations across the globe, including corporate wellness centers in Asia, Jason is a busy man. Let’s not forget his training efforts to be an elite-level athlete too!

So how has he achieved all of this, using the same 24 hours in a day that we all get?

That’s what we dig into in today’s episode.

There’s more…

So we really dive deep into both the practical mechanics and the psychology of how Jason is able to compartmentalize his day - and his life.

Jason was being pulled in 3 directions at one point: world champion training, building a fitness empire & being a good family man.

Something had to give.

When his daughter was diagnosed with leukemia, he made a shift in his life.

World champion CrossFit training had to be the thing that made way.

Testing times with his daughter in hospital helped Jason strengthen his resolve and double down on the things that really mattered to him in life.

We go on an interesting tangent, talking about preparing for the worst case scenario.

For the gym rats among you, we also discuss some optimal workouts and exercises at the top of the show.

A great all-around podcast today and something for everyone!

Must Read Before Starting Your 501c3

Confession: I did many thing wrong my 1st try in starting my own 501c3 -- and wish I'd read this book before I ever started. Likely, I'd have gotten the author, Mrs. Audrey Chisholm, to help me do it the right way from the get-go! I just finished the book yesterday, a quick two day read and have not yet called for my free 1-hr consultation, so I've no idea the costs! Pray I can afford her!

The book is very thorough, she covers it all as well as I can tell...and there are Far more potential pitfalls I'd not anticipated -- ways to get yourself in trouble. It is obvious that this is a marketing book, as she does champion her own law firm often, as your potential trusted advisor and counselor to retain. But the value is in the details, and there are many details most people would just have no occasion to know -- most having to do with complying with Federal/Tax law that govern 501c3 Foundations. I was repeatedly reminded, "Oh I didn't know that", or "I haven't thought of that". Thank your Mrs. Chisholm for writing a fine book, and not cutting corners to short-change us readers. My only wish was that she give readers a range of cost possibilities: 1) If you go it alone as a do-it-yourselfer (say $750-$1,200 to get it all done); or 2) $1,800-$3,500 if you hire a competent attorney to do most of it for you. I'm guessing here and could be way off. But she would not be guessing at what she knows. She mentions her firms "Packages" but never describes how many, or a cost range your should expect. But then...she might not have gotten the opportunity for several free phone call consultation! ;-) This is my lone disappointment, and it doesn't keep from giving her 5 well-deserved stars. If you are serious about starting your own 501c3 -- you'd be wise the read the book carefully First.[]

So this book has a lot of information, and for a subject like this, that is amazing, but it is by no means everything you need to know in order to start a nonprofit. They do self advertise in the book, but I was happy to find it is in no way suffocating. It is usually just using their firm as an example of a point they are making in that section. Overall, this book is very well written and easy to read. It also covers some very key points and helps you think about the types of things you need to start a nonprofit if you are in the beginning stages (like trying to trademark your name or figuring out what is needed to get tax exempt status).

I've only read part of the book, but I feel it is the answer to help me avoid many pitfalls in starting my non-profit educational organization.

I started from not knowing ANYTHING about a non-profit. After reading through it, making notes, talking with rep from Chisholm and then re reading sections of the book, i can say it was extremely helpful for me. The reps were very good about returning my calls, emails and helping me to make sense of the process of creating a nonprofit. Book is written for easy compression. When I was very familiar with the contents i went back through and started highlighting areas that i had questions on. GREAT BOOK FOR BEGINNERS LIKE MYSELF!!!

There are 3 books you must have: Rich Dad, Poor Dad, the BIBLE and THIS Book

Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2019

Go buy this book! I'm so serious! I recommend at least 3 books that you MUST have: Rich Dad, Poor Dad, The BIBLE and this book! It's an easy read for one. 2) Attorney Chisholm (the Nonprofit Doctor) gets right down to the point. 3) She tells pretty much everything, from start to finish. Stuff I didn't know and I've been researching for over a year, I learned in 2 days after reading her book, which only took me 2 days to read. Please patronize her. She's the real deal! Can't say that about a lot of folks, especially strangers these days but her book is legit! If you want to know right now and don't have time to wait, go buy her book right now! I recommend the paperwork. That's what I have

Starting a 501c3

Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2019

I am a CPA and I work for a large multi-national company. I wanted to start a 501c3 to raise funds for senior dogs and the remedies for their common maladies. With my background I felt confident that I could form the corporation by following the guidelines on IRS.gov. Well, good luck with that! I conferred with an attorney in our legal department at work and he indicated I shouldn't try to do it on my own because if it isn't done correctly I could risk losing exempt status at some future date. His advice led me to find this book. After reading this book I better understood what my attorney associate had told me about the risks. After interviewing a couple of law firms, I ended up hiring Chisholm do the work and I have not been disappointed. As with all start-ups, financial resources are limited, and they worked with me to arrange a payment plan. I had my 501c3 up and running within a very short period of time. I would definitely refer this books to other associates considering starting their own 501c3. I have also referred family members to Chisholm for other legal services. I feel that anyone who puts the effort into writing a book, and sharing their knowledge on a complicated subject, is worth listening to.

I strongly feel this book will help guide me on legally managing my nonprofit.

Thanks Ms. Chisholm for the phenomenal information you've written for us in the 501c3 business. I know it's taken arduous hours compiling this information.

This book has given me great insight on what to do before starting, while your starting, what papers you need to fill out, how not to be discouraged through the whole process, what peole need to be on your team, who to hire and who not to hire etc. I mean this book is very informative and she also compares the differences between non for profit and for profit business. She teaches about grant writing, how to get funding, how to partner with other non profits etc. I mean she tells it all. Th author also has a business where she can help you get started and tell you what you need and her business helps you with all of the essentials. She has her work info in there also to contact them to help get you started. Good read. I'll keep reading this book until our non for profit is established next year.

How to protect oneself from unintentional legal entanglements.

Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2020

I liked the easy read and step by step focus on how you too can start a 501c3 Not-for-Profit organization .

Let's be clear, this book is written by an attorney but not for attorneys. This book is written in an easy to read format that answers questions for those with questions on how to start a 501c3.

I have volunteered at non profits, I was a member of a non profit, I was also a President of a non profit, but I wanted to know how to build on my passion for helping veterans by starting my own non profit.

Understand if you are looking to get rich by building a million dollar company, this book is not for you. If you want someone to do all the work for you, this book is not for you. But, if you have great ideas, need assistance in how to stay out of IRS trouble and looking for a helping hand from an organization whose "ONLY" task is to help you realize your dream....then maybe this book is for you.

There are myriad people who say they will help you start your Not-For-Profit organization. But ask these basic questions: Have you started a Not-For-Profit organization? If yes, tell me about it. What are the pitfalls of starting a Not-For-Profit organization? Lastly, what other businesses are you in? Can I see your references?

Too be sure, the author is in the business to make money. But Atty. Chisholm is about helping you fulfill your goals and your dreams. For me, I want people who know what they are doing and who care enough to help me help others.

I am a veteran who served and sacrificed; I am a husband, father, brother and son. I am an educator, mentor, advocate and I know when I need help. I have begun my journey on the path to founding a Not-For-Profit organization. I don't know what lays ahead, but after reading this book I am excited to begin the journey.

Starting a non-profit in layman's terms.

Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2021

Attorney Audrey really explains in layman's terms on how to start your own 501c3. I've researched many authors and you tube videos and to me this is one of the most comprehensive explanations of how to start a non-profit on your own. Most importantly, she speaks from a legal point of view. All non-profits are not the same and have to be handled as such. She takes you step by step in each chapter, but first explains her pitfalls in the beginning before she became a lawyer and gives other scenarios that could impact your start-up. This is very helpful to anyone who wants to do it on their own. After reading her book if you still don't feel comfortable with starting the non-profit yourself, she can help you with any area you don't feel comfortable with or she can do the whole process for you. I've known people who started nonprofits on there own and fell into the very pitfalls she describes in her book. She gives you her track record of success stories and her guarantee to help you to the best of her ability. Setting up any business for the first time can be scary, especially if you have to deal with the Federal Government and IRS! I feel confident in Audrey and her team to help my dream of a non-profit start up after reading her book and the encouraging emails she sends every week. This is a must read for those who are thinking about starting your own non-profit business! I will be enlisting her services for my non-profit venture. Just a note, I was not paid for this review, but the book is really that good! Enjoy the read!
