Here's what readers think.
You've assisted many people in ways that you realize. I wish to be able to do the same by myself.
Just wanted to express my appreciation for the work you do! Purchased Decode & Conquer with the intention of am enjoying every single page. :)
I am an Zimbabwean who has lived within China for the last eight years. I have no direct experience with PM, but the 2-week PM guide has been extremely useful. I've also been studying the books Decode as well as Conquer that has brought me up to speed very quickly. Fantastic book!
I'm just about to finish the publication Decode and Conquer and have discovered it to be informative. I am convinced that I significantly reduced the number of PM interviews where I would have missed with a deer-in-the-headlights expression in my eye.
Lewis Lin is the best. Just received a call from Uber and it's a YES! I've been interviewed several times over the years however it was only after I came across Lewis and his material and this group that I finally was capable of cracking it.
The books I read helped me when I was first offered the position of PM at Amazon. They helped me to refresh my knowledge, along with my acquired knowledge, when I made the move to Google. As you may know is an interview process that's known to be one of the most difficult in the business. The wisdom shared within the pages of the book (even in the instances where I didn't agree with the method and responses) was very helpful.
Outstanding guide if you're new to PM!

Excellent, detailed overview of the product management concepts.
It will be especially useful for readers coming from a different background who are either seeking to understand the basics of PM, or those that need to think in PM terms to address Data Science problems.
Lewis Lin makes it easier by providing different frameworks (C.I.R.C.L.E., A.A.R.M.) for thinking about these kinds of problems and providing cogent answers. Plenty of examples to make it stick.
Highly recommended!
A Well Written Guide for Acing Product Manager Interviews
Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2019
This is a great book for those individuals who are vying for a product manger role. I found a quick, valuable read with plenty of helpful illustrations. While the book gives examples of typical questions that you would be asked for a PM interview, I thought that the major strength was the CIRCLES framework that is easily remembered that will help tackle a typical (or atypical) interview question. I also liked the sample dialogues between the candidate and interviewer, and found the feedback on what made a strong interview response (or weak one as well) extremely valuable. This book is a great bargain and you will refer to it often as you do your interview preparation.

On point refresher and must have for any PM’s bookshelf!

The book is super hands-on and insightful. My only suggestion to Andrew for the next edition is to watch out for ultra localizing the cases to the Bay Area, such as references to the CalTrain, or at least taking a moment to clarify the context for international audiences. The book is well worth the buy and will keep on giving! I do also recommend supplementing it with the follow up guides, like the 164 questions and answers guide. Excellent refresher and inside look at interviewers’ mindset at the top tech companies, please trust from experience!

This book was super helpful in breaking up tough, stressful interview questions into manageable and easy-to-understand steps. I found it interesting to learn about the various methodologies behind certain questions interviewers are likely to ask and how to best answer them in order to stand out as the best, most-knowledgeable candidate.
Read a few previous comments on here about typos, but I believe they have been fixed in my copy! So I would not let that deter you!
I enjoyed learning about the DIGS and CIRCLES Methods that Lewis designed for readers to improve their interview conversations and answers. Will definitely be keeping this book around for continued interview guidance.

I am reading this book from a different perspective. I am the hiring manager for PMs. Interviewing is hard, but interviewers are also seeking to ask the right/best questions.
This book will provide you with tons of sample questions and give you the structure, framework, and guideline to approach problems. It gives you concrete examples of answers and breaks down why they are the best answers.
I've customized the questions for my industry and company, but the structure that this book has outlined remained the same.
GREAT BOOK! LOVE IT!

This is the best PM interview prep book I've found so far, and it's pretty spot-on.
All the other books I've bought have been pretty general. This book breaks down problems to their core. It helps you understand why an answer is correct, and or insufficient. Highly recommend.
